Letter from a Client - Mental Illness a WAR with THOUGHTS

email to author 1/31/13

"Hi Tamara,

I have been passing through lots of interesting experiences and I learned some things that I thought might be of help to your daughter.  You mentioned awhile back that her bipolar was bothering her again.

This last week I passed through more pain and insanity than I did when I was in the mental hospital...but I learned some very helpful things.

I finally understand that this whole "bipolar" thing is about the WAR within my thoughts!!!!!!!!

The "negative energy" has  used a very effective strategy to destroy my peace.  As far as I have understood this is it...

1. They begin with the CONSTANT bombardment of negative thoughts in my own thought/voice.   Like wood peckers trying to drill into my brain, these thoughts are constantly inviting me away from Gods Spirits thoughts.

Brother Fletcher call's these "thought viruses".  The most effective ones seems to be "I am a victim",
(Etsuko told me that in her experience this "victim thought virus is always involved with a candida overgrowth in the body (which I am FULL of and have been all my life); blaming others, criticisms, etc. are other damning viruses.

Once one little thought chain is listened too, step 2 goes into effect...

2. Open the hole into the brain wider by quickly pouring in more negatively inspired evidence of whatever it was I chose to believe. Over time, depending on how long it takes them to convince me of the truth of their lies, like a chain getting thicker and thick with every accepted lie, and my mind getting darker and my feelings get more contentious and soon the Spirit is gone from my heart.  Then they begin step #3.

3. Once I am at the point of angry irrational blindness, I quickly sink into despair (feeling their feelings perhaps + my own at loosing the Spirits companionship?) I have recognized by now that I don't have peace and am praying desperately to get it back but am in a very bad place and I can't see much light or have much hope...it sneaks up. If they can extinguish my hope I am defeated.

This last experience, as I had sunk into despair and could seen no light it felt like an eternity of the pains of hell.  The words that seemed to keep me afloat were from the temple...repeating them over and over and pleading with the Lord to save me.   I saw the shadowy outlines of 5 negative energy beings working frantically over me (I was lying on my bed, trying to sleep...it was late into the night).  I saw them waist up, so they must have been kneeling or sitting through me somehow.  They were feverishly working...the motion looked/felt something like whipping an egg. (I believe this must be some kind of energy work...like the motions of Reiki used for negative).  Finally I felt the angels of God come and push off the negative energies but their damage hung on for a long time.  I fell asleep but I know at least one guardian angel was there still in the morning. Some how they clean and repair during the night.  I am so thankful.

Etsuko did distance energy work on me, taught me more about keeping myself more in constant light.

(So this is what I thought might help your daughter...

I've been flooding myself with light...especially my thoughts...

- Daily scriptures and prayer (and as needed...In the "crazy" when I would read the Book of
-M[ormon], Mormon Tab[ernacle] choir hymns CONSTANTLY floating in one ear.  When I am monitoring how I am feeling, I can choose to tune in to the music of faith and short circuit the thought viruses.)
-Essential oils (the vitamins by DoTerra are great) especially frankincense on the top of my head, my 3rd eye chakra, my heart chakra, and navel.
-I use Wild Orange or OnGuard (by DoTerra) on the back of my neck, head, and shoulders when I feel the negative energies attack (do you know how they do this?  How do they get through my aura?  Oil immediately usually stops the pain.
-Healthy diet full of green veggies...word of wisdom...
- Learning to love myself (the EFT has been helpful in this and learning to love my body).

I think my sickness began because of  my very damaged heart and the pain of negative emotional "slivers" coming out.  I am trying to completely connect every chakra with Father, especially my heart.  If He holds my heart, I hope it will feel safe enough to enable me to be a healthy mom and wife.

I know the physical, emotional, and spiritual parts of our being are all connected and that I need to be strong in all of these to keep balanced to maintain peace. It seems like if I am weak in any of these areas, I am much more vulnerable to attack.

I stopped eating sugar and processed foods and am working to be free of candida.

I think because I have been so low, the "road way" in my brain is already established.  I am quicker to fall, if I start down that path, but IF I DON'T START down the path, they have no power over me.

In summary,

1. I believe my bipolar learning opportunity is caused by negative energies.
2.  I have lots of power to choose to stay in "light" places, especially when I know what I am dealing with.
3.  This opportunity is being turned into a blessing ... to make me stronger, to give me experience, to motivate me to give my whole soul to my God.

This really is warfare!  I hope something of this might be helpful for your daughter.

Do you have any thoughts about how to get my heart chakra healthy?   Can someone with a broken/ unattached heart have the gift of Charity...which I think means I would always have the love to give my family?

How to do more cleansing of negative emotional triggers?  What do you call what you did with me at Etsuko's house?

I have been free of my meds for 3 years but I think drug residues in my systems are still making me vulnerable.  I hate presciption drugs!  Do you have any drug cleansing ideas?

Hope you are well.  Thank you for all you have taught.

Christy"

Science and Charts on Energy Work

DR. WEST'S CHART

I listened to Dr. Kenneth West from South Africa lecture in the fall of 2012 in North Ogden, Utah. He gave me permission to share this power point slide of his publicly.
“Working with scientists from Sandia National Laboratories in Albuquerque, New Mexico, it became clear there is a hierarchy of function – the longer the wavelength, the more powerful it is.  The longest wavelength measurable is called the Boson and, … it controls the hierarchy.  Zero Point is at the top of the pyramid and the Boson creates the descending order of power all the way down to the structural level.
This illustrates why therapies using the waves higher up the pyramid (like energy work, prayer, sound healing) so often produce results superior to those at the bottom of the pyramid, where surgery and biochemical therapies reside.  It is also interesting that the further down the pyramid you go, the greater the risk to the patient, the higher the cost and the more irreversible the changes.” (Dr. Kenneth West, “Stress Addiction,” Odyssey,  Issue 2  2012, p 44)
I believe Dr. West explained that the techniques listed above the bottom level are examples of using  the wavelengths in bold.  The "Hierarchy of Function," portrayed in the pyramid above, summarizes some points in my book, Healing Arts - A Gift from God.

VIDEO -  SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH OF ENERGY HEALING

Dr. William Tiller, Professor Emeritus, Stanford University is the author of eight books and 250 scientific papers. He explains, “We now know that the body heals through frequency, vibration and resonance and it’s communicated through light.”

Here is a very short video of Dr. William Tiller, talking about the scientific research he has done 5 times on the healing modality Reconnective Healing by Dr Eric Pearl. Dr. Tiller mentions developing a device to measure the energy of the space where a workshop was held and how the energy measurably changed - quite drastically, in fact.

Dr. Tiller said, "It isn't an energy effect. It is an entropy effect. Information is being exchanged. Information is being created. When information is being created, entropy decreases...In the process of the Eric Pearl Reconnection (Reconnective) Healing, people are building infrastructure into themselves. Therefore information is growing in the universe. Which means the thermodynamic entropy is decreasing. Which means that nature is restoring itself...It heals the space. It heals our world."

(You can read about this research. "An Experimental Investigation of Some Reconnective-Healing Workshops via a Unique Subtle Energy Detector" is on White Paper XI by  William A. Tiller, Ph.D. and Walter E. Dibble, Jr., Ph.D.)

A SIMILAR CHART

A similar chart to the one above that I've titled 5 Levels of Healing by Dr. Dietrich Klinghardt is found below (and simplified in my first book on slide # 467. Both charts are in my second book).

Quoting Dr. Klinghardt, one author says:
"Health and illness are a reflection of the state of these 5 levels. ... Any health problem can originate on any of the 5 levels.... An imbalance on one level, if left untreated, spreads upward or downward to the other levels.... Unless upper level imbalances are addressed, restoring balance at the lower levels will not produce long-lasting effects.... Therapeutic intervention at the lower levels has a very slow, and little penetrating effect upwards.... But if you do an intervention on the 3rd or 4th level, it can correct the [block] on the 2nd level immediately, within seconds or minutes, [Dr. Klinghardt] notes." (Stephanie Marohn, The Natural Medicine Guide to Bipolar Disorder, 59-60, 72, emphasis added)
Simply put, that sums up what a number of energy work modalities are doing! I believe these processes involve a sacred light, sound, and breath. The field of energy work often involves breathing techniques, unseen light in and around the body and various forms of sound waves.  These underlying principles are spoken of in terms the world uses as well as by religious terms. My book Healing Arts - A Gift from God points out that Zero Point Energy, listed at the top of the pyramid above, is related to intelligence in the light of Christ which mentions other scriptural terms for sacred light, sound and breath. Interestingly, cutting edge scientists have found that healing involves vibration, frequency and resonance -- all communicated through light!

What a blessing that Dr. Klinghardt is world renowned for helping autistic patients as well as Lyme patients in his medical practice. I am deeply grateful for this pioneer who teaches other medical doctors his form of applied kinesiology muscle testing as well as how to release unresolved trauma from generations past and other energy healing techniques.
"Dr. Klinghardt estimates that about 70% of mental disorders across the board go back to systemic family issues that need to be treated. People try to treat them psychologically, on the 3rd level and it cannot work.  This is not the right level.  Similarly, focusing on the biochemistry is not going to fix the problem when the source is at the 4th level." (Stephanie Marohn, The Natural Medicine Guide to Bipolar Disorder, 70)
The 4th level is where systemic family issues or generational problems reside. Clearing generational issues is an area that energy work addresses. What a difference this makes for people!
"Unresolved trauma does not appear to go away with death, but plays out in a variety of ways in later generations.  Often, unresolved trauma from previous generations becomes the source, and the causative event of illness is later generations.... Most people overlook this and can never help their patients.  I use this work for all autistic children that come to my practice.... When we resolve issues in the family history there is often magical improvement in these children. By healing the trauma of the past these children are healed in the present." (Dietrich Klinghardt, M.D., "The 5 Levels of Healing" video, www.mercola.com, Tamara Laing's transcribed notes)
These and other quotes and scriptures on the subject of generational healing as well as religious validation for many underlying principles of energy healing are mentioned in my first book but delved into in my second book. Some of these quotes are in my DVD "What Else Is There?"  Like Dr. Klinghardt, and a host of facilitators of energy work, we attest that changes in health and behavior can happen quickly today -- just like they did when facilitated by mortals in Bible times. Believing in these techniques is not a requirement for them to work, only a willingness to try is.  Belief, however, adds even more to one's results. Faith is a literal power as "Thought" near the top of Dr. West's pyramid attests!

Another professional paper has a chart on 6 strengths that the field of Energy Medicine has. It is described here:

The current status of energy medicine and its increasing challenge to the biochemical paradigm that has dominated conventional medicine are reviewed. While energy medicine represents only a small fraction of one percent of the 2.2 trillion dollar health care industry, six properties of energy medicine give it strengths that could augment conventional health care models.
These include the ways energy medicine
1) can address biological processes at their energetic foundations (reach),
 2) regulates biological processes with precision, speed, and flexibility (efficiency),
3) fosters healing and prevents illness with interventions that can be readily, economically, and non-invasively applied (practicality),
4) includes methods that can be utilized on an at-home, self-help basis, fostering a stronger patient and practitioner partnership in the healing process (patient empowerment),
5) adopts non-linear concepts consistent with distant healing, the healing impact of prayer, and the role of intention in healing (quantum compatibility), and
6) strengthens the integration of body, mind, and spirit, leading not only to a focus on healing, but to achieving greater well-being, peace, and passion for life (holistic orientation).”

Dr. Susan Lawton on Vetiver & ADD/ADHD, Anxiety, etc

Information shared in this document is by Dr. Susan Lawton
from research and practice.

Vetiver
"Vetiveria Zizanoides
Nourishing, Restoring, Reconnecting (A little goes a very long way)
Vetiver grass has long, narrow aromatic leaves and straight stems. Grows in tufts
and is very tall; approximately 6 feet high. Its roots are spindly, but intensely aromatic.   The
Vetiver is steam distilled from the roots and is a very challenging process to gather and process the
plant roots for the oil.  Its scent is heavy, bitter and very earthy (kids ask for the oil that smells like dirt).
"Antibacterial, antidepressant, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, antiparasitic, antiseptic, relieves
muscle spasms and can assist in relief of liver congestion, wound healing and relief of dry skin and
oily scalps, mood lifter, pain relief for stiff joints of arthritis, rheumatism, sprains and strains.
Helpful with insomnia, regulating appetite, and has proven effective with anorexia nervosa when
used consistently.
"Vetiver has a high level of sesquiterpene as part of its chemical make up.
Sesquiterpene (BBB-Brain oxygenating) molecules deliver oxygen molecules to cells, like
hemoglobin does in the blood.  Sesquiterpenes can also erase or deprogram miswritten codes in
cellular memory.  Sesquiterpenes are thought to be especially effective in fighting cancer. *
Used with other essential oils in blends to hold the fragrances for a long time,
really helps the citrus oil scents “pop” in blends.
"Vetiver Oil balances the activity of the sebaceous glands, or oil glands, and helps to
normalize oily skin and clear acne.  It replenishes moisture in dry and dehydrated skin.  Because it
strengthens connective tissue of the skin, Vetiver has a rejuvenating effect on the complexion,
particularly mature skin.
"White Blood Cell Stimulant:  Enhances immunity by increasing the production of
white blood cells that fight infection.  These are the cells that patrol your body, cleaning and
literally gobbling up foreign invaders.  **
"Stimulates the Production of Red Blood Cells, which transport oxygen throughout
the body.  This again improves immunity and circulation.  ***
"Vetiver Oil normalizes either extreme sensitivity or insensitivity.  It integrates spirituality with
materialism, restores balance and harmony, brings thoughts and actions into focus, and helps to stabilize mental and physical energy.

"ADHD and anxiety relief have been reported by consistent users. Diffusing Vetiver is relaxing and a great anti-depressant.
Anxiety can be relieved by mixing Vetiver with Myrrh 1:1 and applying behind
the knees right after shower in the morning.  The Vetiver and Myrrh are both
rather thick in nature and will process gradually and lend a calming influence
throughout the day.  If you need to reapply after 3 or 4 hours use same ratio.
"TMJ Massage Blend for jaw muscles:  1 ounce Fractionated Coconut Oil, Helichrysum 4 drops,
White Fir 3 drops, Vetiver 2 drops, and Balance 2 drops
Tension-Buster:  Vetiver 3 drops, Patchouli 1 drop, Wild Orange 2 drops, and Ylang Ylang 2 drops
Stress Reducing Bath:  ½ cup Epsom salts, Lavender 2 drops, Cypress 2 drops, Geranium 1 drop,
White Fir 1 drop, and Vetiver 1 drop
Stretch Mark Reducing Oil Blend:  1 ounce cocoa butter, melted, ½ ounce Fractionated Coconut
Oil, 1/2 ounce rose hip seed oil, Lavender 8 drops, Grapefruit 3 drops, and Vetiver 3 drops
"To Relieve Obsessive Over thinking:  Vetiver 2 drops, Sandalwood 4 drops and apply to the back of the neck or on the bones behind the ears
To Relieve Preoccupation with Detail:  Frankincense 3 drops, Vetiver 2 drops, and Lemon 1 drop
To cope with sudden fear, especially at night:  Geranium 2 drops, Vetiver 2 drops, and Rose 1 drop
Sweet Sleep:  2 Tablespoons Fractionated Coconut Oil, Sandalwood 6 drops, Wild Orange 2 drops,
Ylang Ylang 2 drops, Coriander 1 drops, and Vetiver 1 drop
Joint or muscle pain after injury: Vetiver 4 drops, Lavender 3 drops, and Bergamot 2 drops, all  in a
capsule and take internally
Post surgery blend for pain after joint replacement every 2 to 4 hours can help stretch other
means: Vetiver 4 drops, Lavender 3 drops, Helichrysm 2 drops, and White Fir 2 drops in a capsule
and take internally
"Relieve absentmindedness and helps with clarity – rub on the back of the neck 2 to 5 times a day:
Vetiver 4 drops, Peppermint 3 drops, and Frankincense 3 drops (can mix together and put in a
roller bottle for easy application)"    Dr. Susan Lawton

Essential Oils for Emotional Healing- Cherie Burton's Free Class

Are you  interested in learning about alternative help for depression, anxiety, and/or emotional healing?Cherie Burton, author of Where Depression Ends and You Begin- 4 Passages to Discovery, will be at my home this Thursday Oct. 14th from 7-9pm if I can gather at least 10 interested people.  If you are open to learning about essential oils, and will be in the Roy,Utah area please e-mail me at lightreader@xmission.com or call me at 801-985-7046 and I will give you directions to my home. Please feel free to share this invitation with your friends.

The following is Cherie's own  message:

Hello,

Many of you know that my family pedigree is riddled with Bipolar Disorder and Depression..and that I lost my sister to suicide 5 years ago.  As a family, we've made it our mission, since Shawna's death, to find other avenues of healing from depression and mental illnesses - as medications and traditional means of treatment found her no relief.  It has been quite the interesting journey, to say the least, discovering alternative healing modalities.

My other sisters, Robin and Taunia - and our mother Merrilyn - were presented with Essential Oils a few years ago.  We were very skeptical at first, but they have proven to be a tremendous blessing to our family, and most particularly to my sister Taunia, whose Bipolar symptoms/episodes have been almost completely abated without drugs.  These natural and potent Oils, more than any other modality, have been the greatest catalyst for emotional support and yes - healing - that our family has discovered.  Many people we work with are using the Oils alongside traditional forms of treatment for accelerated relief and emotional release.

It's sort of become a "mini mission" of mine to teach others about what has been near miraculous with my family...most especially since my son Noah has had his own issues.  You can read about that by clicking here:

If you know of anyone who is suffering with depression, please have them come.  Or, you may wish to come in their stead to get the information and pass it along.  I will be sharing a PowerPoint presentation on a "Mood Matrix" and talking about specific, intensive therapies with Essential Oils to combat depression and anxiety.

I am passionate about helping mothers become "physicians" in their homes and will be teaching classes twice monthly - one in LINDON and one in BOUNTIFUL- along with my sister, Robin.  November's class will focus on children with special needs - Autism/ADD/ADHD.  There have been some amazing transformations with these children because of the Oils, my son included...which you can read about in the blog post above.
Class goes from 7-9:00 pm

If you can't make it, and you'd like the info anyway, call me.  Also, let me know if you'd like me to update you on the monthly classes.

Would love to see you there!
Warmly,
Cherie

Our bodies know how to heal

Our bodies are intelligent and know how to heal. Spencer W. Kimball said:
"Our ills are usually of our own begetting. They must be corrected by ourselves. Man is the master of his destiny, be it good or bad. Man has the inherent capacity to heal himself physically. A doctor may cleanse a wound, sew it up, bandage it well, but the natural power of the body must do the healing. Likewise, a healing process in the spirit and mind must come from within the self will. Others may help to cauterize the wound, suture it, and provide a clean proper environment for the healing, but the body, with the aid of the Spirit, must heal itself."
I know our body’s natural intelligence is designed to heal. When we clear our Energy we support this happening. Candace Pert wrote, "Now that I know my body has wisdom, this calls for a new kind of responsibility on my part. I can no longer act like a dumb machine and wait to be fixed by the mechanic- otherwise known as the doctor. Now I have the potential to consciously intervene in the system myself, to take an active role in my own healing. I’m both more powerful and more responsible in creating the health I experience than the dumb machine I used to think I was." (Molecules of Emotion p 18-20)
Alma 46:40 teaches another important truth about disease: "And there were some who died with fevers, which at some seasons of the year were very frequent in the land- but not so much so with fevers, because of the excellent qualities of the many plants and roots which God had prepared to remove the cause of diseases to which men were subject by the nature of the climate" Please notice that it said God had prepared the plants and roots to remove the CAUSE of diseases. That is far and above just removing symptoms.
Besides the obvious reference to vegetables and herbs, could that include today's pure herbal supplements? Beyond that, it occurred to me that Essential Oils come from both the verse's mentioned "plants and roots." Pure Essential oils can really make a difference! Healing Oils of the Bible by David Stewart, Ph.D. explains that monoterpenes and sesquiterpenes in essential oils bypass the blood brain barrier and deprogram information from cellular memory to help achieve healing. Pure Essential Oils, Flower Essences and homeopathics are all under the umbrella of Energy medicine. God’s creations do share their intelligent design! (See Vibrational Medicine by Dr.Richard Gerber.)
